Cloud-dreaming.

In the recent months I lost perspective.

I lost cloud-dreaming.

In the flurry of all the end of year activity, I’ve forgotten what is important. Everything has moved one hundred times faster than last year, and I’ve stopped tonight and caught my breath. I looked at the sky, and remembered a time when i could cloud dream, or when i could sink my feet in the grass for just a little and be.

Tonight, finally, (and i mean finaaaallllyyyy) i had some time. Just a little in between studying for my end of year exams to be for a moment.

I don’t see much in the clouds tonight, maybe i need to look harder…

What do you see?

K xx

PS: I just wanted to share this..

  1. The sunset tonight was also lovely. It becomes all too easy to keep your head down and ignore the beauty in the world, your photos are always able to remind me to look up :)

  2. Lovely pics, as usual, K! In that cloud picture, the first thing that crossed my mind when I saw it was that it would make for a wonderful texture overlay for photos! :)

  3. I adore cloud gazing. I get lost for hours and yet I haven't done so in years. That's definitely going on my list of things to do soon. Beautiful pics, love. XX OO

  6. For me, I always think of this verse from the Bible...Psalm 19

    The heavens declare the glory of God;
    the skies proclaim the work of his hands.

    And the dreamy photo of the little girl, stunning as always!

  7. I tried to find something in the clouds... even flipped the laptop upside down to change perspective. I didn't find anything.:/ Still a beautiful photograph, and that second one is as well! :)

  12. It's been a long time since I looked up at the clouds myself. I can't wait for spring and summer again so I can stare up at fluffy clouds. In your photo I found the word HOPE all scrambled up.
