I did it.
I shot in manual.
And I didn't stuff up, the pictures came out just as i wanted!
Hope you enjoy these as much as i do!
{In her natural state, hair all over her face. I took ones with the hair off her face, but i like this better...}
And finally...something a little different. The last shot of the day (Emily running away from my poor lens,) i shot this as she skipped inside.
Coupled with a quote from my favourite photographer :)
So, which one of those thousands of images that i just posted is your favourite?
...Hope you are all having lovely weeks.
K xx

ReplyDeleteI totally agree with you, the one in the natural state is amazing. All of these pictures are beautiful. Way to go Manual. :) Once you start, you never go back.

ReplyDeleteI like the 2nd to the last! Just beautiful!

I also like the one with the hair in her face...my girls are the same way. I love the spinning one, too.
ReplyDeleteThank you for you very nice comment! And good for you for trying Manual settings...I can't get them to work for me! Maybe I should actually learn about it. haha
Thanks for stopping by my blog earlier :)
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, these are just fabulous. I honestly don't think I can pick a favorite because they are all stunning... The coloring is so beautiful! What kind of camera are you shooting with?
The second to last one is my favorite. But they are all fantastic photos! :D
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pics! And congrats for shooting them all manual! I've been trying to play around with manual on my camera too, but my fast moving kids are just too much of a challenge and I always go back to AF! Maybe someday they will finally slow down! :-) I think the first image is my favorite. She has such gorgeous hair!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog and for your sweet comments. Have a wonderful day!
Stacey :-)
Great pictures, although there is a tinge of melancholy, an almost haunting look in Emily's eyes that makes me want to console her somehow...
ReplyDeleteI love the dancing one......she looks so free. And I love the composition of the one with mostly hair and one eye; split down her face. Really talks to me.
ReplyDeleteWow, what a great blog you have! I love all of them, especially those with movement, the one where she dance or the last one! Georgeus work!!!
ReplyDeleteWell with your talent and an adorable subject, they're all winners. My favorites were the hair in the face and the blurred walk away shot. I really need to play with my camera more.
ReplyDeleteYa'll have a wonderfully blessed Wednesday!!!

I've followed your blog since december, and i've never commented. Can i just say, you are getting better and better. You are just so talented for a sixteen year old girl. Other people would think this is the work of a middle age photographer.
ReplyDeleteI've rambled sorry, but i love your blog, you're so talented.
